The actions taken by Global Citizens all around the world are having real impact on the lives of people around the world. Our Global Citizen Festival campaign this year, which included Global Citizen Festival events in New York City and Accra on Sept. 24, culminated in $2.4 billion to end extreme poverty — including more than $440 million earmarked exclusively to initiatives to end extreme poverty in Africa.
