Why Global Citizens Should Care
One World: Together At Home aired on April 18 in celebration of essential health workers around the world, as well as in support of the World Health Organization's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and local partners. Join the movement by taking action here to support the ongoing fight against COVID-19.

In-person concerts and Broadway shows may still be suspended because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but that doesn’t mean the music industry has disbanded.

Over the past several months, artists from across genres have taken to streaming services to engage fans, release new music, and bring people together.

Now the first-ever Lockdown Awards, organized by LiveXLive Media, are honoring some of the best stay-at-home performances of the year.

And a number of artists and Global Citizens garnered nominations through our One World: Together At Home global broadcast, which was curated by Lady Gaga and brought together dozens of artists, world leaders, activists, and more to celebrate and honor essential workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Ahead of the historic event, the campaign raised nearly $128 million for efforts around the world to support health care workers, help develop a vaccine, and improve health care systems.

For the category, “All the Feels: Favorite Song for the Soul,” both Andra Day and Jennifer Hudson were nominated for their One World: Together At Home performances.

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes were nominated in the “Digital Chemistry: Favorite Duet” category for "What A Wonderful World," along with Leslie Odom Jr. and Nicolette Robinson for "BROWN SKIN GIRL."

Lizzo received a nomination for “I Heart That Song: Favorite Cover” for her rendition of “A Change Is Gonna Come.”

The “No Stage, No Problem: Favorite Outdoor Performance” category included Maluma for his performance of "Carnaval" during One World: Together At Home.

Keith Urban enlisted various versions of himself for a performance of “Higher Love” during the special, which earned him a nomination in the “Room With a View: Favorite Creative Direction” category.

The “Stronger Together: Favorite Group / All-Star Performance” category included a nomination Andrea Bocelli, Celine Dion, John Legend, Lady Gaga, & Lang Lang for their stunning performance of “The Prayer.”

For “The Room Where It Happens: Favorite Home Performance” category, Lady Gaga received a nomination for her performance of "Smile" during One World: Together At Home and John Legend received a nomination for "All of Me," which he performed as part of Global Citizen's #TogetherAtHome Instagram Live series.

Finally, SuperM’s performance of “With You” and The Rolling Stones' “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” both earned nods for the “Zoom Tune: Zoom Performance” category.

Fans can vote for their favorite performances now at livexlive.com/TheLockdownAwards, and the winners will be announced at the livestreamed show on Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. ET.
