By providing live-saving PPE, COVID-19 tests, and critical care equipment to communities most in need, this funding enables PAHO to continue its emergency response efforts throughout the Latin American and Caribbean region most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. As of March 1st 2021, PAHO has delivered life saving PPE to 136 countries, including 6.2 million gloves, 2.1 million gowns, 40 million surgical and respirator masks, 371 000 goggles, and more than 24 million COVID-19 testing kits in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
One year after the successful launch of “Color Esperanza 2020,” Diego Torres, Kany García, Leslie Grace, Lali, Reik, Carlos Rivera, Prince Royce, Thalía and Carlos Vives will spread messages of hope, well-being and health to the prevention of the SARS-CoV-2 virus on their social networks
