7 Photos of Rihanna Visiting Malawi to Support Education
Rihanna's jumping right into her role as ambassador to the Global Partnership for Education.
In February, Rihanna went to Malawi to learn more about the education crisis that impacts millions of children around the world — schools that lack teachers, books, desks, and classrooms; families who can't afford uniforms, school, fees, and supplies; educators who lack support and resources to help students grow.
Rihanna traveled with the Global Partnership for Education, for which she is an ambassador, and Global Citizen, to learn more. Here are seven photos of Rihanna helping teach classes, meeting with officials and teachers, and hanging with children, as part of that mission.
