“If you’ll stand for nothing, what will you fall for?”
Lin-Manuel Miranda said it himself as Alexander Hamilton in the most Tony Award-nominated musical ever. The show was called a “landmark American musical” as it won the Pulitzer prize for drama, in a huge spread of award wins that includes a GRAMMY for Best Musical Theatre Album and 11 Tonys.
And now, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Original Broadway Cast of HAMILTON with Jimmy Fallon & The Roots will officially be joining the room where it happens — the Global Goal: Unite for Our Future digital concert premiering worldwide on Saturday June 27.
The hit musical cast will join fellow new additions Naomi Campbell, J’Nai Bridges with Gustavo Dudamel, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles), and the For Love Choir on the all-star lineup that already includes Miley Cyrus, Usher, Justin Bieber and Quavo, Shakira, Coldplay, and loads more.
Look around, look around, at how lucky we are to be online right now.
The concert — followingGlobal Goal: Unite for Our Future — The Summit earlier in the day — is the culmination of a campaign that uses our collective voice to rise up and drive forward the development and equitable distribution of COVID-19 therapeutics, tests, and vaccines for everyone, everywhere.
