Global Citizen Prize is nearly here, and we’re so excited for Global Citizens around the world to join us in celebrating some of this year’s most inspiring leaders and activists. 

The award ceremony — hosted for a second year by John Legend — honors leaders across government, business, philanthropy, the arts and entertainment, and more, as well as among Global Citizens and young people globally. 

As well as shining a light on extraordinary individuals leading the way in the fight to end extreme poverty and its systemic causes, Global Citizen Prize will see performances from Alessia Cara, Carrie Underwood, Common, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, JoJo, and Tori Kelly; and appearances from John Oliver, Nick Jonas, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. 

The broadcast special will air on Dec. 19, 2020, at 8 p.m. ET / 7:30 pm PT on NBC in the United States and CTV in Canada; as well as Albavision, Digicel, Insight TV, Mediacorp, SABC, Sky Media, TRACE Anglophone West Africa, Viacom, and Vodafone, in Africa, Asia, Canada, Central America, India, Europe, and the UK.
