THIS CONTEST AND ANY ADVERTISEMENT RELATING THERETO IS INTENDED FOR PARTICIPATION ONLY BY RESIDENTS OF THE COUNTRY OF BRAZIL AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED ACCORDING TO AND GOVERNED EXCLUSIVELY BY BRAZILIAN LAW. DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THIS CONTEST IF YOU DO NOT FALL WITHIN THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH BELOW.

1. Eligibility: This Global Citizen Live: Rio 2026 Contest (the “Contest”) is open only to legal residents of the Country of Brazil , who are at least 18 years of age, and Global Citizen members at time of entry. Employees of Global Citizen Brasil, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, internet agencies, suppliers and any other companies engaged in the development, production or distribution of materials for this Contest, and each such employee’s immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where restricted or prohibited by law.
   
   To participate, you must download the Global Citizen App (the “App”) . The App can be obtained for free by visiting Google Play for Android mobile devices or the Apple App Store for iOS mobile devices, downloading the app to your web-enabled device and follow the instructions to register. Data rates may apply.
   
   Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Terms & Conditions including all eligibility requirements and the Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Contest. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
2. Timing: This Contest’s entry period begins on May 8, 2026 and ends on June 1, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM BST (the “Contest Period”), and consists of distinct stages to be presented by Sponsor and available on the Contest information website. Sponsor has officially announced the first stage of the contest to be held between May 8, 2026 and May 18. 2026 , comprising at least pairs of tickets to be released at the conclusion of that term.
   
   In the event an insufficient number of eligible entries is received to award prizes for earlier stages of the Contest, or if prizes allocated to earlier stages are unclaimed, the unclaimed prizes will be added to the next subsequent stage. Should any prize inventory remain at the conclusion of the final stage, Sponsor may elect to run additional round of the Contest to distribute all remaining inventory. Such additional round shall be governed by the same rules of this Contest, and shall fall within the Contest Period.
3. The Global Citizen platform is the official timekeeper for this Contest.
4. Here’s How to Enter a Stage:
   
   A. Via Action Entry
   1. Registered Global Citizens will have the opportunity to earn points by completing defined journeys and sprints on the App (“Journeys” and “Sprints”). Examples of kinds of actions and activities that may comprise a Journey or Sprint include, but are not limited to, signing up with Global Citizen, sending an email or calling a decision maker, signing a petition, taking a quiz on a Global Citizen issue, checking in at a designated location to support a Global Citizen campaign, reading/watching/listening to content on Global Citizen platforms or sites, and various other activities. Points are awarded based on the difficulty of the Journey (e.g., 30, 60, 90) or Sprint (e.g., 15, 25, 35) and may be updated or modified by the Sponsor at any time without prior notice. Journeys and Sprints may vary and are constantly updated. A ctions associated with a Journey or Sprint have no associated costs (i.e., “free” to complete . Points cannot be combined or transferred between Members. Points and Rewards cannot be redeemed for cash or credit.
      
      Sponsor or its designees may review Registered Global Citizens’ actions for quality, completeness, compliance with instructions, and overall appropriateness before or after administering points. If, upon review, the content is determined (in Sponsor’s or its designees sole discretion) to (i) fail to meet the minimum quality or completeness requirements described for the action (e.g., photos that are blank, irrelevant, or indecipherable; written responses that are unintelligible, off-topic, or substantially incomplete; social shares that do not contain the required content or tags; quizzes that are not meaningfully attempted), (ii) violate any requirements or instructions for the action, or (iii) otherwise violate these Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right to reduce, revoke, or void any points awarded for such action, and/or remove the content from the Program platform.
      
      In addition, actions taken or content submitted must be suitable for presentation in a public forum and MUST NOT in any way: disparage Sponsor or any persons or entities; contain offensive or harmful words, statements, or content (including words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic group); and/ or violate any federal, state, and local laws or regulations. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit participation from any individual that it determines has violated these provisions and terms and conditions herein or otherwise engaged in conduct detrimental to the integrity of the Promotion.
   2. You may find the total points required to be eligible to enter a stage on the App.
   3. To enter a stage, during the Contest Period, visit the App , log in with your Global Citizen User ID and password, and follow the instructions to submit your entry. Points required for entry will automatically be deducted from your account point balance. No limit on the number of entries per stage per person. Limit one win per person per stage. Non-winning entries will not roll-over into subsequent stages of the Contest.
   
   
   B. Via WhatsApp
   1. Interested participants who wish to enter the Contest shall first text Global Citizen via WhatsApp. If the interested participant is not a registered Global Citizen, they will be asked to create an account and become a registered member via WhatsApp. Members will have the opportunity to enter the Contest by participating in various activities to take action provided by the Global Citizen WhatsApp account. Examples of actions include, but are not limited to, signing up with Global Citizen, sending an email or calling a decision maker, signing a petition, taking a quiz on a Global Citizen issue, checking in at a designated location to support a Global Citizen campaign, reading/watching/listening to content on Global Citizen platforms or sites, and various other activities. Actions may vary and are constantly updated. All actions have no associated costs (i.e., “free” to complete ) .
   2. To enter the Contest, during the Promotion Period, follow the weekly prompts sent via the Global Citizen WhatsApp account. Once an action is taken through the Global Citizen WhatsApp account, users are automatically entered into the respective stage of the contest. No limit on the number of entries per stage per person. Limit one win per person per stage. Non-winning entries will not roll-over into subsequent stages of the Contest.
      
5. Winner Selection: All prizes for each stage will be allocated by the Sponsor at their offices in New York City, United States (via random computer generation) within twenty-four (24) hours following each stage’s entry deadline date.
6. Winner Notification: An entrant is not deemed a winner of any prize, even if the winning notification should so indicate, unless and until (i) the entrant’s eligibility has been verified, (ii) all requirements determined by the Sponsor to claim his/her prize have been fulfilled and (iii) the entrant has been notified that the acceptance and verification process is complete.
7. Via Action Entry: Potential winner(s) will be notified by the Sponsor via email within 24 hours with instructions on how to claim a prize/reward. Potential winners must respond within 48 hours from the time the initial email notification was sent. If a potential prize winner (a) cannot be contacted at the registered electronic address within that 48 hour period; or (b) fails to properly respond within the time specified within the notification email; or (c) refuses the prize; or (d) the prize or prize notification is rejected or returned as undeliverable, then such potential prize winner may be disqualified and forfeits all rights to be deemed the winner and the unclaimed prize will be added to the next available stage (with the exception of the final stage, where an alternate potential prize winner will be selected, time permitting). Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.
8. Via WhatsApp: Potential winner(s) will be notified by the Sponsor via WhatsApp within 24 hours with instructions on how to claim a prize/reward. Potential winners must respond within 48 hours from the time the initial WhatsApp notification was sent. If a potential prize winner (a) cannot be contacted via WhatsApp within that 48 hour period;, or (b) fails to properly respond within the time specified within the notification WhatsApp message; or (c) refuses the prize; or (d) the prize or prize notification is rejected or returned as undeliverable, then such potential prize winner may be disqualified and forfeits all rights to be deemed the winner and the unclaimed prize will be added to the next available stage (with the exception of the final stage, where an alternate potential prize winner will be selected, time permitting). Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.
9. Prizes/Rewards: Each prize consists of a pair of general admission tickets to the Global Citizen Live : Rio 2026 (“Reward Event”). NO TRANSPORTATION OR ACCOMMODATIONS INCLUDED. Reward Event details can be found on the App . There is no retail value associated with this Reward. Limit one prize per person per stage.
10. General Conditions for All Prizes: Admission is subject to the restrictions and requirements of the venue and Event organizers, as applicable. You may be required to complete a waiver and/or release prior to participation in the experience. Participants may also be required to wear masks, maintain social distance and adhere to other rules related to sanitary regulations, including, but not limited to, mandatory quarantine. Please check local travel regulations and sanitary requirements. All prize tickets are subject to the terms and conditions regarding use, as printed thereon, including age restrictions and any requirements of the Event Instructions for ticket delivery will be provided to verified winners via email at time of notification. Ticket delivery methods include, but are not limited to, online ticketing systems and will-call ticket pickup. Any and all transportation and accommodations associated with prize acceptance, redemption and usage will not be provided by Sponsor and each prize winner will be solely responsible for paying all costs and expenses not expressly set forth herein, including without limitation, accommodations and transportation to and from the Reward Event. All applicable federal, state and local taxes on a prize and any expenses relating to the acceptance/use of a prize not specified herein are the sole responsibility of winner. Winners are responsible for obtaining and possessing all required valid photo ID and travel documents, as applicable. Winner’s guest must be eighteen (18) years of age or older, unless guest is winner’s child. Ticket may not be resold, offered for resale, or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in ticket(s) being voided. No substitution, cash substitution, or transfer of prize permitted by winner. The Releasees are not responsible for any unclaimed, lost, mutilated or stolen ticket prizes; nor will said prizes be replaced. The Releasees are not responsible for postponement or cancellation of the Reward Event or for issues arising from venue operation and management. This Reward Event is subject to change based on local health and safety guidelines leading up to/at the time of the event. In the event the Reward Event is canceled, modified or postponed for any reason, the Releasees will have no further obligation to award compensation in lieu thereof. The Sponsor, Releasees and/or any other relevant party reserve the right to remove or deny entry to the winner and/or guest of winner who engages in a non-sportsman-like or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person at the Event or at any prize-related venue. All Reward details not specified herein shall be determined solely by Sponsor, and will be provided to the winner at time of prize notification. In no event will the Releasees provide any additional compensation to any entrant other than the prize offered as stated herein.
11. General: By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, including all eligibility requirements and the decisions of the Sponsor and its agents, which are final and binding. If an entrant submits more than the stated number of entries permitted, and/or if the Sponsor suspects that an entrant attempted to obtain additional entries by using multiple email addresses, registrations, identities or any other method, all entries submitted by the entrant may be declared null and void. Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents (including, but not limited to, contest entry services) will void all entries by that entrant. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any promotion materials and these Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail, govern and control. All material submitted becomes the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Contest or in the announcement of the prizes. All third-party names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
12. Release: Entrants/winners agree that Sponsor is liable for defects related to the Contest and any possible insufficient or mistaken information disclosed in relation to the Contest. Entrants/winner acknowledge and agree, however, that Sponsors are not liable for acts of third parties, such as other entrants/winners, as well as for acts that are not under the control and influence of the Sponsor, such as problems that entrant/winners facing when accessing the internet or using any computer system necessary to participate in the Contest or facts occurred while winners are travelling or participating in the events for which tickets were allocated as result of the Contest. Entrants/winners further acknowledge and agree that even if any damage arises from the Contest itself or the promotion carried out by Sponsor, Sponsor will not be liable for indirect or punitive damages, of any nature.
13. Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in this Contest constitutes entrants and their guest’s (each, a “Granting Person”) consent for the Sponsor, prize providers and their designees to use, solely for purposes of promoting the Contest in any type of media without further payment or consideration, Granting Person’s name, likeness, any written or oral comments or testimonials to, or other feedback on, any prize or experience, and any user generated content, including, without limitation, audio, photographs and still images, and video content (“UGC”). For the avoidance of doubt, each Granting Person hereby grants to Sponsor, and Sponsor hereby accepts, a non-exclusive, non-assignable, non-transferable, royalty-free and sublicensable right and license to use and display UGC in connection with the Prize experience, subject to any applicable third-party approvals. Sponsor shall have the right to use audio recordings, video recordings and/or screenshots of the Prize experience, subject to any applicable third-party approvals.
14. NOTICE: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor is not responsible for undeliverable or mistranscribed e-mail transmissions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission that may limit a user's ability to participate in the Contest. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail filtering by a user's Internet service provider and/or e-mail client or for insufficient space in user's e-mail account to receive e-mail. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the program; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration or security of the Contest.In the event of termination due to event(s) beyond the control of Sponsor, Sponsor may elect to randomly allocate any or all of the prizes/ Rewards offered in a single stage, among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance. In the event a dispute arises regarding the identity of the entrant, entry will be deemed made by the person whose name appears on the Global Citizen account that corresponds to the email address. Any damage made to the Website by an entrant will be the responsibility of the entrant and/or the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. Proof of submitting entries will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Any entries which are suspected of being fraudulent (including those using robotic, automatic, programmed or similar methods of participation) will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to freeze or close an account or to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify this Contest if it cannot be executed as planned for any reason or event beyond Sponsor’s control, including but not limited to a Force Majeure event or occurrence, an “act of God” (e.g., natural disaster, etc.) or an unforeseeable health event (e.g., pandemic) making it inadvisable, impractical, impossible or illegal or which materially affects a parties ability to perform its obligations under this agreement in whole or in part, or if fraud, technical failures, human error or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: Except where prohibited by law, this Contest is governed by Brazilian law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. Any matters or proceedings shall take place in the City of São Paulo , Brazil, or in the courts of the participant’s domicile. If any provision of these rules is deemed invalid by law, rules or regulations, such provision will only apply to the extent permitted.
16. Privacy: Global Citizen Brasil is committed to maintaining your trust by protecting personal information we collect about you. Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://www.globalcitizen.org/en/about/privacy-policy. By entering and participating in this Contest, entrants agree that the Sponsor may, subject to local data privacy laws, collect and process such entrants’ personal information for purposes of this Contest.
17. Winners: A list of winners will be available at globalcitizen.org/rewards/winners/ after winners have been verified.
18. Sponsor/Promoter: Global Citizen Brasil, headquartered at Avenida Paulista, 37, 7th floor, Suite 72, Bela Vista, São Paulo, CEP 01311-902, duly registered with the CNPJ/MF under No.37.321.091/0001-77s is the sole sponsor of this Contest.
