Rio de Janeiro, June 2, 2026 – On June 6, Global Citizen Live: Rio de Janeiro will take place at Botafogo Bay as a free, ticketed event featuring Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean in a special celebration of the 30th anniversary of the iconic album The Score, with appearances by YG Marley and Zion Marley. The lineup will also include Brazilian artist Ludmilla, in a night hosted by Giovanna Ewbank and Bruno Gagliasso.
More than a concert, Global Citizen Live: Rio de Janeiro is part of a broader movement connecting music, social impact, and civic action. Getting There
Public transportation is strongly recommended for both arrival and departure. Ticket holders can access the venue through two pedestrian underpasses connecting Praia de Botafogo to Botafogo Bay: one near São Clemente Street and another near Farani Street, which provides the closest access to the stage. Attendees are encouraged to use these designated crossings, as surrounding roads will remain open to vehicle traffic.
MetrôRio recommends using Botafogo Station, with metro service operating on an extended schedule from 5:00 a.m. to midnight. Several bus routes also serve the area throughout the day. Those arriving by taxi or ride-share should be dropped off along Praia de Botafogo and use one of the pedestrian underpasses to reach the venue. No road closures are planned around Botafogo Bay, and Flamengo Park (Aterro do Flamengo) will remain open.

Free Water Stations
To help attendees stay hydrated throughout the event, complimentary drinking water stations will be available across the venue.
