Conflict, climate change and COVID-19 combined with high costs of nutritious foods and inequality have made the goal of ending hunger an increasingly distant reality. 

SInce the outbreak of the pandemic, and prior to the invasion of Ukraine, approximately 150 million people have struggled with hunger – impacting women more and harming the potential of young children.
