At WaterAid, we believe in a world where everyone, everywhere has access to safe water, toilets and hygiene education. For 34 years and in 26 countries, we’ve been working with people in the world’s poorest communities to build taps and toilets, campaign for change and bolster the skills of local families. Since 1981, we’ve reached 21 million people with water that is clean and safe to drink and, since 2004, 18 million people with toilets and sanitation.
For the first time in history, we have proof that a world where everyone has access to safe water and toilets is an achievable dream. It won’t be easy, but we’ve committed our very existence to making it happen. That’s why we’re proud to be part of Global Citizen. We simply can’t do this alone.
