Hopeland is a non-profit organization focused on finding better ways to keep children in families. There are 25 million children globally growing up without a family, but 385 million more at risk of separation. We support initiatives domestically and abroad to prevent parent/child separation and mobilize a movement of families to provide support to these vulnerable children.
Hopeland was launched at Global Citizen Festival in 2016 and our Co-Founder Deborra-lee Furness continues to be the main host of the Festival with her husband Hugh. In our mission to find better ways to keep children in families we share Global Citizen's commitment to tackling extreme poverty as so often this is the root cause of family separation.
