How to Get Tickets for Global Citizen Live: Rio de Janeiro – A Free, Ticketed Concert With a Purpose

Global Citizen is bringing Ms. Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Ludmilla to Botafogo Bay to help strengthen sustainable agriculture across the Amazon and Latin America, and raise money for children’s education through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund

On June 6, Global Citizen Live: Rio de Janeiro is coming to Botafogo Bay for a free, ticketed event featuring Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean in a special celebration of the 30th anniversary of the iconic album The Score, with appearances by YG Marley and Zion Marley. The lineup will also include Brazilian artist Ludmilla, in a night hosted by Giovanna Ewbank and Bruno Gagliasso.

Music and social impact side by side

Unlike other free shows on the beach, Global Citizen Live: Rio de Janeiro is a concert with a purpose – it’s all part of Global Citizen’s of an international movement that uses music, culture, and entertainment to inspire collective action around urgent social and environmental issues.

All tickets to Global Citizen Live: Rio de Janeiro will do two things:

  • Strengthen sustainable agriculture in the Amazon and across Latin America, and supports the creation of 10,000 green jobs in the region,
  • Advance the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which is raising USD $100 million by the FIFA World Cup 2026 final to expand access to education and sports for children in underserved communities.
