On July 6, Herbert Grönemeyer, Coldplay, Shakira, Ellie Goulding, Pharrell Williams and Andreas Bourani, along with a host of world leaders and celebrities, will take the stage in front of 12,000 Global Citizens in Hamburg at the Barclaycard Arena.

So that you can have the best (and safest) time possible, here’s what you should know about attending the festival.

I've won tickets! When and how do I get my ticket now?

Firstly: Congratulations on winning a ticket!

Second: On July 2, our partner Ticketmaster will send emails to all winners. Follow the link in the email to claim your ticket. Download it, print it, and bring it on July 6!

What do I need to enter the Barclaycard Arena on July 6?

You need your ticket and your valid photo ID. You must have a ticket and a valid, government-issued ID or passport to get inside the arena. Student IDs will not be accepted.

What time can I arrive?

The doors open at 4:30 pm. General admission seats are first come, first-serve, so arrive early to get the best spot in the arena.

When does the show start?

The pre-show starts at 6 p.m. with super-special surprise guests, and then Coldplay will kick off the show.

When is the end?

The festival will end around 23:00 pm with a phenomenal final.

Is there an age restriction?

Yes. Children and young people under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Can I bring a bag?

Since the security of all visitors is of the utmost importance, all bags are inspected and only small handbags or wallet are allowed within the venue. There will be lockers outside the arena for backpacks, which can be very quickly all occupied. We therefore recommend that you do not have any or only very small bags.

What can I bring?

You may also bring: cell phones, cameras, and ear plugs.

You may not bring: weapons; aerosol cans; flashlights; glass or hard plastic containers; pyrotechnics; any hazardous object; megaphones; posters, signs, confetti; large objects like backpacks, strollers, stools, folding chairs; laser pointers or whistles; drugs; food; animals (except for seeing-eye dogs).

How to Get to the Arena

We highly recommend people attending the festival arrive by public transportation. The S21 and S3 lines, which go directly to the venue, will be running more frequently ahead of and after the festival. Trains will arrive roughly every 10 minutes before 7 p.m.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Unfortunately, no. Exceptions are only valid for guests who are obliged to carry food and beverages on the basis of a medical certificate or passport.

Can I buy food and drinks in the Barclaycard Arena?

Yes, there will be stands at the venue.

Can I smoke in the Barclaycard Arena?

No, the entire Barclaycard Arena is a non-smoking arena.
