More than 4 million refugees have fled the ongoing Syrian conflict, 1.5 million of whom are children. 7.5 million others are displaced internally - the highest number of refugees in a single crisis in over 25 years.
It has since become one of the largest humanitarian crises in recent decades, destroying the homes and livelihoods of millions of Syrians.
CARE employs Syrian refugee volunteers who serve the refugee community, reaching over one million of those impacted in Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt, Yemen, and inside Syria.
