Today, the United Nations announced the Global Goals, an epic international roadmap for the next 15 years.

It’s historic. Countries and people from all corners of the world banded together and agreed to focus on what really mattered: making a better life for all.

In the 24-hour lead up to the announcement, people around the earth have been uniting behind the Global Goals to show their solidarity. Under One Sky was a vast celebration occurring in over 70 locations. In one voice, they celebrated, from Australia to India, across Africa and Europe, cumulating in Dag Hammarskjold square outside the United Nations in New York City.

Last night I was lucky enough to be a part of the finale and take some pictures to document just some of the incredible support shown there.

But New York City wasn't the only place holding events. Check out a few of the photos from Sydney, Australia!

People were asked to tweet when they got there as a show of support for the Global Goals. They also would be entererd for a chance to win Global Citizen Festival tickets. We were humbled by the overwhelmingly positive reaction.

To keep the momentum going, go to TAKE ACTION NOW to call on world leaders to champion the Global Goals.
