Earlier this week, Global Citizen launched a campaign celebrating what makes America great: its roots in immigration.
This Is America — featuring the faces and stories of refugees and immigrants of all kinds — challenges the image of refugees and immigrants that the Trump administration has used to justify its discriminatory, unjust, and un-American travel ban.
We asked Global Citizens to be a part of this effort — by sharing photos of themselves exposing their immigrant or refugee history. The results are amazing.
Take a look through and share your photos at This Is America.
