The 2015 Global Citizen Festival is here. After three months of campaigning by global citizens around the world, leaders, activists, and celebrities are gathering in New York City’s Central Park to celebrate and commit to the launch of the Global Goals.

These 17 Global Goals will guide international development for the next 15 years, with Goal #1 being: End Poverty.

In the lead up to this year’s Festival, global citizens have taken 1.5 million actions. Today, during the Festival, global citizens everywhere have the opportunity to raise their voices together and shape the world’s commitment to these 17 Global Goals.

You have the opportunity to:

●  Show people that this global generation cares, by tweeting your support for the Global Goals, showing you are NOT a generation of bystanders

●  Call on the G7 to outline their plans to lift 500 million people in developing countries out of hunger and malnutrition by 2030

●  Get the US government to increase access to education for ALL children

●  Get the G20 to commit to real solutions to make the economic empowerment of girls and women a reality

●  Call on the Foreign Ministers of Australia, Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands to actively implement the Global Goals

Go to the 2015 Global Citizen Festival Page to watch the livestream of the event and take action today. The world needs your voice.
