We’ve got a sneak preview of exactly what you can expect — and it’s all happening this weekend!

On Sept 29. — this Saturday — the 2018 Global Citizen Festival is landing in New York’s Central Park. And you can be a part of it too by tuning in and finding out what Global Citizen has to offer. 

You can tune in to watch the whole thing live, joining the millions of Global Citizens around the world who will be streaming the festival live on TV, social media, and radio. 

Janet Jackson and The Weeknd are headlining, with Shawn Mendes, Cardi B, Janelle Monáe; special guest John Legend; and super-famous hosts like Deborra-lee Furness and Hugh Jackman. 

So how can you get a taste of a Global Citizen festival from South Africa, to whet your appetite ahead of December? Well, let us tell you. 

1. Watch the festival live on NBC News. 

You can tune in on nbcnews.com/globalcitizen from 9 p.m. SAST, and you won’t miss a moment. Get some friends round and you can make it a whole thing. 

2. Stream via YouTube, presented by Johnson & Johnson

You can stream the full festival live on YouTube, starting at 9 p.m. If you think you might forget (how could you forget??) you can set a reminder right now by visiting our channel, and YouTube will send you a notification when we go live. 

We’ll also be posting performances, speakers, and clips of world leaders making crucial commitments on our channel throughout the night, so you can go back and watch your favourite moments over and over again. 

3. Stream via Twitter, presented by Johnson & Johnson

If Twitter is more your flavour, then we’ve got your covered there too. From 9 p.m., you’ll be able to stream the whole thing straight to your phone or laptop.
