Thanks to the incredible efforts of a generation, polio has been 99% eradicated.

From the March of Dimes and the hunt for a vaccine, to the ongoing efforts of more than 1 million Rotarians, change has been made by an extraordinary collection of ordinary individuals who dared to dream the dream of a world without polio.

Now, with just 1% to go, Brendan Walker has signed up to do his part in the colossal quest to end this disease.

“If I was a rich bloke,” he says, “I’d make a big donation to help out. But I’m not, so I thought, what can I do?”

The answer he came up with was a daring world record attempt: an epic journey from Perth to Sydney… on a kick scooter!

The End of Polio is proud to partner with Brendon as he traverses the country, raising money and awareness for polio eradication.

Join us in throwing your full support behind Brendon and his Push for Polio! For the cost of a coffee or a beer at your local pub, you can ensure 21 children are vaccinated against polio, thanks to UNICEF.
