Move Afrika: Kigali is taking place on March 17, 2026 at BK Arena. Global Citizen invites all Move Afrika: Kigali attendees to join us for a happy hour at BK Arena before the show. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, as gates will open at 4 p.m. for happy hour and pre-show celebrations. A selection of refreshments will be available until 6 p.m.

Following happy hour, BK Arena’s doors will officially open at 6 p.m., with the pre-show beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Who are the artists performing at Move Afrika: Kigali?

Grammy® award-winning artist Doja Cat will headline Move Afrika: Kigali this year. Additionally, DJ Iraa will be joining the show. Be sure to arrive early so you don’t miss a moment of the music.

Do I need to bring money to BK Arena?

You may want to bring money to purchase food, drinks, and merchandise throughout the event. BK Arena accepts cash and credit cards, but there are no ATMs available on site.

Yes. BK Arena will have a variety of food vendors where attendees can purchase food and drinks. Please note: outside food and drink are not permitted.

What is the bag policy at Move Afrika: Kigali?

Bags smaller than 30cm x 45cm will be permitted. Please note: backpacks of any kind are prohibited.

Is there anything I shouldn’t bring into BK Arena?

  • Glass bottles, plastic bottles with caps, metal cans, or canisters of any type
  • Audiovisual material (professional cameras, video cameras, recording devices like DAT or MD)
  • Sharp, pointed or blunt objects, penknives and knives
  • Signs or banners considered political, ideological, religious or advertising
  • Objects prone to be used as projectiles
  • Folding chairs, mess tins, rigid flasks
  • Balloons and balls
  • Pyrotechnic articles, candles
  • Weapons, explosive, inflammable or volatile substances
  • Bicycle pumps and repair materials, motorcycle helmets
  • Flag masts, parasols, non-retractable umbrellas with points
  • Backpacks, bags and large baggage exceeding 40cm x 40cm x 20cm (or A4 size)
  • Food and drinks
  • Selfie sticks
  • Tablet PCs and laptops
  • Animals other than certified assistance animals
  • Drones or aerial devices
  • Motorcycles, bicycles, roller-skates, sleds
  • Any other item that may cause alarm or disturbance

Can I bring food into BK Arena?

No. Outside food is not permitted inside BK Arena. There will be a variety of vendors inside the venue where attendees can purchase food.

Can I leave and re-enter BK Arena?

No. Re-entry is not allowed at BK Arena.

Do kids need tickets to attend Move Afrika: Kigali?

Yes. Everyone — regardless of age — needs a ticket to enter the event. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a chaperone.

How can I get accessible seating?

What is the parking situation at BK Arena?

All Gold, Silver, GA Lower Bowl and GA Upper Bowl ticket holders will have access to the car park at Amahoro Stadium, entering from KG 11 Ave from 3 p.m. Please note: parking at Amahoro Stadium is on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited, so we encourage guests to arrive early to secure a parking space and enjoy the happy hour.

All Platinum ticket holders can access the BK Arena via the CIP car park at the exit gate by the National Heroes Mausoleum. Please note: access to the CIP car park will require a car park pass.

Suite and VIP ticket holders can drop off at the BK Arena's CIP Entrance. Please note: access to the drop off point will require a car park pass.
