If you’ve grown tired of hearing the same old spiel on climate change, let these kids make you hopeful again.

The video, produced by Fatherly, showcases a series of kids demonstrating their scientific solutions to the world’s environmental challenges. Their target? Marrakesh, Morocco, where world leaders have gathered for COP22, a climate conference where heads of state, and global leaders are brainstorming strategy for how to deliver on their promise to keep the global warming below the 2 degree Celcius threshold.

But they also have a message for all of us: to wake-up and do something, because the entire planet is at stake.

“We can’t just talk about the United States, we’re going to talk about all-around the world,” says one of the adorable climate-change brainstormers.

Their ideas are on-point, with just the right amount of whacky to keep us all light-hearted. These kids are already thinking about the different factors involved in climate change, such as transportation, oceanic warming, and drought.

And — let’s face it — at the end of the day our planet will be left to them, as well as our problems, so it’s a good thing they’ve already started to think outside the box.

If anything, their playful message is to be hopeful, pro-active, and creative.

Because, as one of the kids announces, “we can save the world by just imagining things that pop into our heads.”
