Poverty. Inequality. Broken Public services. Politicians who serve themselves. Business owners who abuse their power. Corruption is the abuse of entrusted power for private gain. It hurts everyone whose life, livelihood or happiness depends on the integrity of people in a position of authority.  Corruption is a global problem, not just in the developing world but in developed countries too. Corruption holds back economic development, committing billions to a life of poverty. It leads to the poorest being denied food, water, shelter and healthcare. But, corruption can be rooted out when people join together to change the system that facilitates it.
