In 2014, on the suggestion of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the United Nations declared June 21 International Yoga Day. The day celebrates the physical, spiritual, and mental practice that originated in Ancient India, and is now practiced by millions all over the world.

Yoga practitioners everywhere, including world leaders, soldiers, and children, posted photos doing their favourite poses in unusual places.

With 191 UN countries celebrating the second International Yoga Day, here are some stunning photos of celebrations from across the world.
