As the whole world prepares for the once-in-a-generation 24-hour broadcast uniting artists, activists, and world leaders to defend the planet and defeat poverty, Global Citizens like you have been taking action on today’s most pressing global challenges.

And now your hard work has paid off — you’ve won tickets to Global Citizen Live in Los Angeles!

On Sept. 25, you’ll join fellow Global Citizens at the iconic Greek Theatre for a night of spectacular music and inspiring calls to action to target famine, climate change, and vaccine inequity. With an all-star lineup featuring Stevie Wonder, Adam Lambert, Chloe x Halle, Demi Lovato, H.E.R., ONEREPUBLIC, Ozuna, The Lumineers, and 5 Seconds of Summer, it’s sure to be a night you won’t forget.

In addition to ticketed events in Los Angeles, New York City, and Paris, the broadcast special will feature live and pre-recorded performances from artists all over the world, from Sydney to Seoul and Rio de Janeiro to Lagos. It’s all part of our Recovery Plan for the World campaign, which is focused on helping the world end the COVID-19 pandemic and get back on track to achieving the UN’s Global Goals by 2030.

The Recovery Plan focuses on five key objectives to engage the global community: ending COVID-19 for all, ending the hunger crisis, resuming learning for all, protecting the planet, and advancing equity for all. Now that you’ve earned your tickets, it’s time to make sure you have everything you need for the event. Below, we break down the answers to your biggest questions about Global Citizen Live in Los Angeles so that you’re ready for Sept. 25.

Where and when is Global Citizen Live in Los Angeles?

Global Citizen Live in Los Angeles will take place on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at the Greek Theatre. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. PDT, and the show will start at 7 p.m. and end around 11 p.m. 

Make sure you’re on time — headliners open the show.

Who are the artists performing at the Los Angeles event?

The Los Angeles event will be headlined by Stevie Wonder, joined by Adam Lambert, Chloe x Halle, Demi Lovato, H.E.R., ONEREPUBLIC, Ozuna, The Lumineers, and 5 Seconds of Summer.

What are the set times or order the artists are playing?

We’re not releasing set times or the order of artists. With this amazing lineup, be sure to get there early to enjoy the whole show!

How do I get to the Greek Theatre? Is there parking?

The Greek Theatre is located in the south section of Griffith Park at 2700 N Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027.

Paid parking is available around the venue, which accepts cash and credit cards as forms of payment. The Greek Theatre is also pleased to offer shuttle service as part of its commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and impact on the environment by reducing the number of vehicles on its grounds. As part of the California Department of Public Health guidelines, all guests using the shuttle service will be required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status.

Will there be food and drinks sold at the show? Cash or card?

Food and beverage offerings will be available throughout the venue. 

The Greek Theatre is a fully cash-free operation that only accepts debit and credit cards for a safe and speedy checkout. They do not accept cash. If you do not have an accepted cashless method of payment, please visit the Guest Services tent.

Where can I find ADA information for the Greek Theatre?

The Americans with Disabilities Act and several California State Laws were enacted to promote equal access for everyone. The Greek Theatre strives to provide accessible seating to guests with specific accommodations and to ensure that wheelchair-accessible locations are reserved for guests who require such an accommodation.

A minimum of 41 wheelchair and semi-ambulatory tickets are available throughout the Greek Theatre.

Do I need to be vaccinated to attend Global Citizen Live in Los Angeles?

To ensure the health and safety of everyone at Global Citizen Live, all guests must be fully vaccinated and will be required to show proof of vaccination. “Fully vaccinated” means that it has been at least 14 days after the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine, or at least 14 days after a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine.

As this is an inclusive, all-ages show, exceptions will be made for guests who are not able to be vaccinated due to age restrictions, on medical advice, or inability to access vaccinations. These guests must present a negative PCR test from within 72 hours of the start of the show to gain entry.

What will be accepted as proof of vaccination? 

Guests must provide a physical vaccine card, photo of vaccine card showing the batch number, or a Digital COVID-19 Vaccine Record from the State of California to prove vaccination status. Vaccine status and photo IDs will be checked by security before entry.

Will masks be required for attendees? 

Face masks are required for all attendees at all times regardless of vaccination status; face masks must cover the nose and mouth and must be either a two-ply disposable or reusable/washable facemask.

Neck gaiters, bandanas, and facemasks with vents are not permitted. Security will monitor and enforce compliance with face covering per the venue policy.

What is the security screening like?

The safety and security of every attendee of Global Citizen events is our top concern. Every person attending the festival can expect a thorough screening (similar to airport-style) at the gates.

What can I bring inside the venue for Global Citizen Live in Los Angeles?

Items allowed inside the Greek Theatre include: one (1) factory-sealed plastic bottle per person; an empty reusable water bottle; a small point and shoot camera with non-detachable lenses that can fit in the front pants pocket. Strollers are permitted in the venue but are not permitted in any seating areas. Strollers are to be checked and held at Guest Services.

Guests are also permitted to bring in clutches or wallets smaller than 4.5” x 6.5” x 1” and medical and parental bags smaller than 12” x 12” x 6”, which are subject to search. Please leave anything larger at home or in your vehicle.

When and how will I receive my tickets?

Congrats on winning tickets to Global Citizen Live in Los Angeles! If you claimed your tickets within 48 hours of winning them, you will receive another email 72 hours before the show explaining how to download your tickets.

Can I turn up without a ticket?

No, all tickets will be allocated prior to the event. Only ticket holders must arrive at the venue. No tickets will be sold or distributed on the day.

Do I need to print my tickets?

No, you can show digital tickets for the Los Angeles event at the Greek Theatre that can be scanned directly from your mobile device.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the venue’s beautiful natural surroundings, cell service may be limited to some cell phone providers. We STRONGLY recommend you download your ticket in advance of arrival.

I only need one of my tickets. Can I give the other one to another Global Citizen?

Both of my tickets have my name on them. Is that OK? 

Yes, your guest will still be able to get into the festival if your name is on their ticket.

Do I need to show a matching ID at the gate?

Yes, you need a matching ID at the gate to gain entry to Global Citizen Live in Los Angeles.  

Can I transfer my tickets to someone else? 

Yes! Once you receive the ticket link, you can easily assign them to another name via Ticketmaster. Here’s how to transfer tickets

  1. Log in to your Ticketmaster account, and go into “My Tickets”

  2. Find your pair of Global Citizen Festival tickets, and use the “Ticket Transfer” option to transfer tickets to your friend or family member’s name. 

Please note this will only be available after Sept. 22.

Can I buy tickets to Global Citizen Live in Los Angeles?

Yes. There are a limited number of tickets on sale at Ticketmaster here

Can I sell my Global Citizen Live tickets? 

Tickets you’ve won by taking action with Global Citizen are free but cannot be sold on a secondary market place for any reason. Ticket resellers will take down any Global Citizen Live ticket sales and Global Citizen will cancel any tickets that do come up for sale — so if you buy them, you won’t be able to get into the show.

We’ve set out the rules in the Terms & Conditions and will remove people who break the rules from all draws.
