We have some fantastic news coming from the US Congress.

A bill ensuring education for all, specifically focusing on vulnerable children and marginalized populations, is ready to come to a vote in the US Senate!

This bill will greatly help the 263 million out of school youth and adolescents throughout the world access an education.

The bill’s progress is exciting to see, however, there is only a limited amount of time left for the Senate to pass the bill before the year’s end - so we need to move quickly!

We need Global Citizen’s like you to call your Senator and ask them to support the Education for All Act.

To date, Global Citizens have taken over 30,000 actions in support of providing quality education for all, and passing the Education for All Act into law. Time is winding down in the current 114th Congressional Session, but there is still plenty of room left for Congress to jump into action and prioritize legislation to help children throughout the world access education.

Take action by calling your Senator and urge them to support the Education for All Act

Specifically, the bill increases the efficiency and effectiveness of current U.S. foreign assistance funds that support  global education issues. It also helps to ensure equal access to quality education for children throughout the world, specifically girls and women, and children affected by protracted conflict and crisis.

The next step is for the bill to come to a vote in the full Senate.

There is a lot of ground to cover in a short amount of time and we need your help to express the urgency of the situation. These children need our help accessing quality education. They need our help  building healthier, brighter futures.
