Earlier this month Bill Nye the Science Guy made an appearance on the Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. Bow tie game on point. Larry asked our favorite scientist if race exists in the animal kingdom.. "or are we the only ones doing this?"

Bill Nye's response pretty much nailed the whole reason I believe in being a global citizen- that our humanity is based on the fact that we are all interconnected and that although we may have physical, religious, political or economic differences, we are all human beings. #science.  

"If a guy from Norway has an 'interaction' with a woman from Zimbabwe, all you're going to get is a human. You're not going to get a new thing. We're all the same, from a scientific stand point, there is no such thing as race."
