No Child On the Sidelines

To World Leaders:

The 2026 FIFA World Cup™ is the biggest stage on earth. Canada used it to help leave a lasting impact beyond the stadium by committing funds to help grassroots organizations give children the chance to learn, play, and thrive.

270 million children are currently out of school. Nearly 138 million are engaged in child labour. When children lose access to education, they lose more than a classroom — they lose a pathway to safety, opportunity, and possibility.

The World Cup comes around only so often. This moment matters.

We call on world leaders to follow Canada's lead and commit funds as part of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund campaign so that every child has a chance to learn, grow, and play.

No child should be left on the sidelines.
