Terese Marie Mailhot is from Seabird Island. She's Saturday Editor at The Rumpus. Her work has been featured in Carve Magazine, The Offing, Burrow Press Review, The Toast, Yellow Medicine Review, The Rumpus, Feminist Wire, Huffington Post Canada, and elsewhere. Her essay, "I Know I'll Go," was also listed as notable in Best American Essays 2016. She's won fellowships from Writing By Writers, SWAIA, and Vermont Studio Center. Her book, "Heartberries," is forthcoming from Counterpoint Press.
