About Divpreet Kaur

Divpreet Kaur is a Global Policy and Advocacy Intern at the Global Poverty Project. She is currently earning her Bachelor's degree in Public Health at the CUNY Brooklyn College. Being a Sikh, she seeks to learn, create and empower herself and others around her through Truth. Originally from Punjab, Divpreet hopes to apply her education and experiences to create sustainable health justice and development programs in her homeland.

Why Divpreet Kaur is a Global Citizen

I believe that justice and empowerment have to be rooted in Love, and Love is All-Pervasive. Thinking and acting Global is my way to express that Love.
