  • From private jets to mega-yachts, the richest 1% of people cause more pollution than most of the world combined.
  • The UK has a chance to lead the world by supporting fair taxes on pollution caused by the wealthiest.
  • Record your video — we’ll deliver it straight to UK leaders on the International Day of Clean Air, Sept. 7.

Learn More about this cause:

Right now, the people who pollute the most — like those who fly on private jets and own mega-yachts — often pay the least when it comes to climate action. That’s not fair.

The UK has a chance to join other countries and support new rules that would tax the biggest polluters. The money raised could help pay for clean energy and health care in communities most affected by climate change.

We need your help to make sure the UK government steps up and joins the Global Solidarity Levies Taskforce to push fair taxes on luxury emissions. We’re collecting short videos from people everywhere calling for climate fairness. These videos will be shared directly with UK government leaders on the International Day of Clean Air, Sept. 7.

Your voice could make a real difference. Let leaders know: It’s time to make polluters pay.
