Thanks to Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, access to basic healthcare doesn’t depend on your postcode. From the air, across the sea, over the hills — healthcare workers are going the distance to deliver lifesaving vaccines to the last mile.
Made possible by the funding Gavi receives, healthcare workers are equipped with cold-chain systems, training, and delivery support so that no community is left behind.
But right now, Gavi faces a funding gap that could put this progress at risk. Other countries have stepped up. Norway and Swden must do the same. Norway has pledged significant support but needs to go further, while Sweden can step up and help fill the gap.
Together, their commitments could mean millions more children protected from deadly diseases.
