Learn More about this cause:

Under new laws women and girls cannot read aloud, sing, or even raise their voices outside their homes. Under the Taliban’s oppressive rule, they are forced into silence, their faces and bodies hidden from view. These women are stripped of their right to express their opinions, show their identities, or enjoy the basic freedoms that we often take for granted.

Afghan women are being systematically erased, one oppressive rule at a time, while the world remains largely silent. We must stand together to send a clear message to the Taliban: the world will not stand by as they attempt to silence and erase these women.

That’s where you come in. We’re urging you to take action. Share a 15-second video to shed light on the situation in Afghanistan and lend your voice to the women who have been silenced.

Use the hashtag #VoiceForAfghanWomen and tag @glblctzn, and we’ll reshare your video. Now is the time to act. Post your video and help give a voice to those who are being silenced.
