Learn More about this cause:

Millions of women and girls worldwide are still fighting for their sexual and reproductive health rights. Many are still denied this fundamental right, leaving them vulnerable to exploitation and abuse.

Around 4.3 billion women and girls around the world do not have access to at least one of their sexual and reproductive rights.

Sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) include access to sex education, safe contraception, medical assistance during pregnancy for safe delivery, and safe access to termination.

Access to sexual and health services saves lives by ensuring a safe delivery for mother and child. Full access to SRHR allows girls to stay in school, postpone marriage, avoid unwanted pregnancies, increase lifetime economic earnings, and end extreme poverty for themselves and future generations.

Investing in sexual and reproductive rights is key to ending the cycle of extreme poverty.

What has been your experience? Did access, or lack of access to any aspect of your sexual and reproductive health and rights change your life?
