Learn More about this cause:

Today, millions of children around the world are denied the basic right to education — and with it, the chance to reach their full potential. At the same time, access to sport, which helps build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills, remains out of reach for far too many.

To tackle this, FIFA and Global Citizen have launched the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund — a bold initiative to raise $100 million to support education and football programs in over 200 countries. The fund will back grassroots efforts to help children learn and grow both in the classroom and on the pitch.

Half of the fund will go toward FIFA’s Football for Schools program, run in partnership with UNESCO, which brings sport into learning environments, especially in underserved communities. The other half will support global education initiatives that help break the cycle of poverty.

This is a chance to use the power of football, music, and global solidarity to open up real opportunities for the next generation. Together, we can help make sure every child has the chance to learn, play, and dream big — no matter where they’re born.
