Learn More about this cause:

Manahel, a 31-year-old Saudi fitness instructor, was arrested in November 2022 and sentenced by Saudi Arabia’s counter-terror court to 11 years in prison, later reduced to five.

Her charges stem solely from online posts supporting women's rights and posting videos without an abaya —freedoms she believed were ensured by reforms announced by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

In prison, Manahel has faced grave rights violations, including solitary confinement, denial of health care, and physical and psychological abuse.
