Children are among the worst hit. There are now 222 million children worldwide, who are affected by crises and need educational support. That equates to nearly one in every 200 children, and is a concerning increase from 75 million in 2016.

Until governments do more to make sure children get an education no matter where they live, these 222 million dreams are on hold.
