Forests are the lungs of our planet — home to 80% of Earth’s biodiversity and vital to food, water, and climate security. But they’re being lost at alarming rates. Deforestation fuels the climate crisis, threatens Indigenous communities, and destroys ecosystems that sustain us all.
There is hope. Around the world, Indigenous leaders, farmers, and youth activists are showing how we can produce food while protecting forests. But they need global support, policies, funding, and accountability.
As leaders gather in Belém for COP30, Global Citizens everywhere are uniting to make one message clear: Forests are life. Protect them, fund them, and fight for them.
