In 2025, FIFA and Global Citizen launched the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, a four-year initiative aiming to raise USD $100 million to expand access to quality education and football for children globally.
That money will go to the Football for Schools (F4S) programme, run by FIFA with UNESCO, focusing on life skills, learning, and community development through football.
The Fund operates in over 200 countries, supporting grassroots education projects. France’s support could help accelerate learning outcomes and inclusion for children who are too often left behind.
