In 2025, the Global Citizen Festival is more than just a celebration — it’s a powerful call for action. This year, we’re focusing on key global challenges where real progress is possible, if we come together.
We’re urging world leaders to expand access to clean and affordable energy for 1 million people across Africa. We’re calling for quality education for 30,000 children who are currently out of school, and we’re demanding action to protect 30 million hectares of the Amazon rainforest — a vital resource for our planet and future generations.
We’re also highlighting the need to better support women and girls worldwide, by helping ensure their safety, health, and access to opportunity. And we’re pushing for funding and solutions to end hunger and malnutrition — so that no one is left behind.
