4.6 Million Homes across Africa will be powered by 2030
Thanks to commitments from the European Commission, Pele Energy Group, Globaleq, and Energea, the Scaling Up Renewables in Africa campaign is gaining momentum as we head toward Global Citizen NOW: Johannesburg and the G20 Summit in late November, driving the push for even more transformative action.
25 Million Hectares of the Amazon Rainforest Protected
The Protect the Amazon campaign has raised $280 million to date to protect and restore 25 million hectares of the Amazon rainforest. Global Citizen Festival: Amazônia on November 1 will continue the momentum toward its $1 billion goal.
$140 Million Mobilized for Children's Education
More than $140 million was mobilized for children’s education and nutrition, including more than $30 million for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. Well on the way to meeting the $100 million goal by the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
