Today, hundreds of global citizens showed up at The TODAY Show to participate in an incredible day of action, which was centered on food aid reform. It was early in the morning, but the positive energy couldn't be contained. Smiles were all over the faces of global citizens as they held up their signs for the cameras and wrote their letters to senators encouraging them to support the Food for Peace Reform Act of 2015.

I have to say, it was really special to see global citizens come together to take action against poverty. It reminded me that together we can do a lot when it comes to tackling the world's biggest challenges.
